ARTIST REQUIREMENTS
* A cosmetology license in the state of Maryland (or reciprocity from other states)
* Eager to learn and a willingness to grow

define ASSOCIATE PROGRAM
At Define, our associate program is the fundamental element of our education and the basis of our artists' career path to success. Our Summit salon program is designed to provide advanced training to raise the skill sets of new talent designers, business building, and guest handling and is based on Redken methodologies and principles. We believe that this level of training creates not only talented artists, but career driven and goal oriented team members. As this training program is accelerated and intense, we ask for 100% commitment to success. Upon completion, our artists not only possess advanced skills in the industry, but the power to create meaningful guest relationships and be in the driver's seat of success. Our program creates a roadmap to level advancement and opportunities to become future team leaders, salon educators, shareholders, or artists in the field. If you didn't think a master's degree in hairdressing existed, then you haven't been professionally defined.

ASSOCIATE STEP UP PROGRAM
Are you a current cosmetology student seeking a positive, motivating salon environment? Our associate step up program is geared for current cosmetology students who wish to build a salon relationship in preparation for our Define associate program. Step up associates work part-time hours in conjunction with their school schedule. Ideal candidates are full-time day students seeking evening or Saturday hours or part-time cosmetology students with day time availability. In this role, you will learn to foster excellent guest relationships, understand the Define experience of salon flow, shampooing, and general salon support, and develop the basic principles as an entry level associate.
